Hello! I'm Derrick & thank you for visiting my portfolio!

I grew up on the island of Kauai and moved to Oahu where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Media. I LOVE hanging out at the beach, traveling adventures, and mochi ice cream!

Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to become an artist. While growing up, I found that drawing, painting, and craft-making did not hold my interest. It was only when I picked up a camera that I found my calling.

Since 2010, I work as a wedding cinematographer. In 2015, I began to also work professionally as a photographer and now specialize in intimate portraits. 

I aspire to become an artist who creates simply, beautiful imagery.
